Using this site
You can use this site to learn about my services and get in touch. The content is general information, not advice for your specific business. Results described on the site come from past work and are not a promise of future results.
Quotes
After a free call, I send a written quote. It sets out the work, the deliverables, the price, the timeline and the payment terms. A quote is valid for 30 days. If the quote and these terms disagree, the quote wins.
Payment
I send a Stripe payment link with the quote. Work starts once payment is received, unless the quote says otherwise. Prices are fixed for the scope in the quote. If you ask for extra work, I will quote it separately before starting.
What I need from you
Access to the pages, product or data listed in the quote, and answers to my questions within a reasonable time. If access or answers are late, the delivery date moves by the same amount.
Deliverables and ownership
Once you have paid in full, you own the deliverables made for you and can use them however you like. I keep the right to use my general methods, templates and know-how on other projects. I won't share your information or deliverables with anyone without your permission.
Confidentiality
I keep everything you share private, and only use it to do the work. If you need a separate confidentiality agreement, I'm happy to sign one.
Results
I rank recommendations by likely impact and show you how to test them. I can't promise a specific result, because results depend on how and when changes are built and on things outside my control.
Cancelling
You can cancel before work starts for a full refund. If you cancel after work has started, you pay for the work done up to that point, and I refund the rest.
If you are buying as a consumer rather than a business, you also have the right to cancel within 14 days of agreeing the quote. If you ask me to start within those 14 days and then cancel, you pay for work already done.
Liability
My total liability for any project is limited to the fees you paid for it. I am not liable for lost profits, revenue or data. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
